So, I've concluded that saying goodbye to you is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I leave for the airport in four hours and tonight, you will finally lay eyes on the this blog. I really hope you're not angry, but I doubt you will be. I even bought you another shirt, to temper the pain of losing the first one:

I feel like I haven't got the time, and I didn't see enough of you. I have a few days worth of adventures for you. Admittedly, I got a bit behind on posting. Let us begin with last Tuesday, when I became all sneaky and took your shirt to school to bid everyone a fond farewell.
Of course, I was late to that day, because I always am. I came in right around lunch time.

that's your shirt waiting patiently in my backpack, if you didn't notice. So, I got in to school and went to lunch. After lunch, we had a really lovely time enjoying the always captivating teachers of Mr. Herman.

Here was your word to my Italian friends. You didn't think I would actually post it, did you?
So, you ran along to yearbook, all cheerful and oblivious. Now, your shirt gets an opportunity to say goodbye.
By having so many people involved in this scheme, I feel like it's less and less my fault because nobody told you about it. and, Lucas, everybody knew.

Mr. Pisaturo jumped at the opportunity to be a part of the project. And, I am wholly convinced that Mrs. Reynolds it a member of the Witness Protection Program. I am not being facetious.
So, that was Tuesday and I left my digital camera with Saira. Unfortunately, I totally forgot that the next day I was going to NYC to get my visa. SO, your shirt could not come on that adventure with me.
I was takin' the subway and hailin' cabs and here was your shirt:

Sorry about that.
Thursday, nothing spectacular happened but I really have some truly flattering pictures of you eating yogurt and showing off.

Clearly, I am the better looking of the two of us. I didn't even bother with the camera on Friday, because I was far too excited about Saturday. Saturday, Lucas! Our final farewell! The part where we were going to spend the entire day together, and I would haul my ass out into the middle of the country where you hide that huge house of yours and we would bake muffins.
Well, Friday, you went home sick.
and at 9 am Saturday morning, I check my facebook wall and see "I am really really sick. I cannot do today."
Well, you broke my heart.
So, instead, saira and I burned Mrs. Reynolds some CD's and took your shirt along for the ride.

That's your shirt on Mrs. Reynolds' door. I had more pictures, but I didn't want to reveal too much about her whereabouts, in case she actually is a member of the Witness Protection Program. She's my favorite teacher and it would be a real bummer if I got her hunted down and killed by the mafia.
So, the rest of the weekend was entirely uneventful. I have more videos for you, but I'll upload them later because it takes 20 minutes for one to process.
Lucas, you really are my best friend and you can be sure that I am not ever going to forget about you. I don't even think that's a realistic possibility. I leave soon, and I'm going to get on a plane and jet away to God knows where, but it's all been done before, you know?
I'll come back and we'll go rock climbing and to Chuck E. Cheese and you can wear that ugly shirt I bought you.
This is goodbye for now, and not goodbye forever. I know you know that, but I guess I need to reassure myself. you'll hear from me all the time, and you're going to be the first person I call when I get back. I love you.
Noi Cambiamo, yeah? don't change too much without me.
