I don't pick up my phone, 'cause in the daylight anyplace feels like home.

The song Daylight by Matt&Kim makes me nervous and hopeful all at the same time
and I wonder if that's because last time I felt as hopeful as I do when I listen to that song, it all went to hell.
Maybe this time I've learned not to place stock in anything or anyone and I can just hold onto the weightlessness of optimism.
I AM HOPEFUL AGAIN AND IT SCARES ME!
